On April 27 we will be celebrating our 4th Annual Arbor Day event at River Hook. We are excited to share some of the accomplishments of the past year and to honor the members of our Friends of River Hook Founder’s Circle. The Haring House and the stone carriage house will be open, including some art by local artists, poetry in the meadow by local poets, and the reinstallation of the “Still Here: Women of the Ramapough Lenape Nation” banners, made possible, in part, with support from the Austen-Stokes Ancient Americas Foundation. We are also going to remember Jannene Cason by planting a dogwood tree in her honor and expect a visit from the Summit School goats. It is sure to be a fun event!
